Sometimes you need a little help with a machine It might be that you can't remember how to get the tracks in or out, how to change a bucket or something has gone wrong.

All excavators have a hydraulic or engine lock, lift the left hand arm before turning the key.
Most excavators have an emergency stop button, most of these are required to be in the up position, except for Kubota which are in the down position.
Lift the machine off the ground with dozer one side and the bucket the other side, adjust the lever between your feet by 90 degrees, now use the dozer lever to move the tracks. Don't forget to push the lever back down when finished.

Please make sure you don't run out of fuel. If you do refuel the machines, please ensure your supply is clean and put in the right place. (We have had some customers fill the water and hydraulic tanks with diesel which is costly)
Diesel must be DERV (white diesel) [Red Diesel is no longer allowed in hire machines, there will be a charge for flushing machines, new filters and disposal if Red Diesel is found]
Our Dumpsters, Petrol Mixers and most plate compactors run on E10 Petrol.
Some larger machines may require AdBlue
Breakdowns, Accidents and Damage
Sometimes things go wrong on site, or the machine may suffer a breakdown, if this happens please get in touch with our office. If a machine tips over for whatever reason DO NOT ATTEMPT TO START THE MACHINE but call us asap.
