Gary Knight
Company Director
Gary joined the company in 2008, his previous experience within the hire industry has been an excellent advantage to the business growing the customer base and fleet.
Gary schedules the deliveries and manages the invoicing & customer order processing.
Along side Andy in October 2024, Gary became joint owner and Director of the business.
Andy George
Company Director
Andy joined the management team in 2014. Andy had been working with Gary in various business roles since 1999, and hiring from Express Hire whilst working for a national company.
Andy looks after the customer accounts, human resources, business marketing, and customer order processing.
Along side Gary in October 2024, Andy became joint owner and Director of the business
Sam Howell
General Manager
Sam joined the office in August 2020 during the covid times, he has years of experience in various other hire companies, he is an expert in access equipment and also holds a HGV licence just in case it is needed.
With the product knowledge and skill set nothing is too much trouble for Sam.
In 2024 Sam was promoted to General Manager where his managerial skills are growing all the time.
Richard M
Delivery Team
Richard joined Express in 2020, he works along side Glen, Martyn Paul and Paul in our HGV delivery fleet. Richard has keen skills with the telehandler fleet. Richard drives our other 32 tonne truck.
Glen B
Delivery Team
Glen joined the business in 2015 and has developed through the ranks undergoing training to operate machines on site. Glen has the pleasure of our smaller vehicle helping him get to the sites the lorries cant reach. Glen works along side Richard, Martyn, Paul and Paul.
Martyn H
Delivery Team
Martyn joined the company business in 2022 and works along side Glen, Richard and Paul and Paul. Although driving our 26 tonne truck, Martyn is our rapid reponse driver.

Paul joined our team in 2025 and works along side Richard, Glen, Martyn and Paul and drives our other 32 tonne truck.
Paul R
Delivery Team
Paul joined our team in 2025 and works along side Richard, Glen, Martyn and Paul and drives our 12 tonne truck.
Jared B
Workshop Team
Jared joined Express in 2021, and works as Yard Manager Making sure the fleet is ready for hire and for the delivery drivers. Jared runs a tight ship. In the Winter of 2025 Jared also joined our in house service and breakdown unit.
Chance R
Workshop Team
Chance joined Express in 2025 in a new role working along side Jared and Stuart to help the flow of equipment in and out of our yard.
Stuart B
Workshop Team
Stuart, who joined us back in 2017, is always dirty. Stuart can be found in our wash bay. He Loves the rain as every little bit of water helps wash off the machines. Stuart prepares our machines to make them ready for hire.
Stuart works with our workshop guys keeping an eye on all the equipment..
Phil D
Workshop Team
Phil joined also joined the workshop team in 2022, he has developed his skills and knowledge since being with us. He works along side Spud and Jared to complete our current workforce
